That's right! We are pregnant!!!!
Today I am 7 weeks.
Peed on a stick Tuesday March 5th in the morning. I gave Lyla the pregnancy test and put her "BIG SISTER shirt on" and she ran to tell daddy. The next day we told Nona, Pap, Uncle Jason and Donna..Nona and pap noticed right away. Uncle Jason took a little longer but Donna took the longest! Everyone was super excited.
The plan was to tell grandma and grandpa when we went to visit for the weekend, but we couldn't wait so we did a "conference call" and told them together. Everyone was super excited.
By the end of the week, the news spread like wildfire and everyone close to us knows.
As I did with Lyla I'll try to do weekly updates with you. You know, keep things fair :)
Pregnancy: 7 Weeks
Weight Gain: About 4lbs, according to my home scale, that is probably because I'm no longer "dieting". I ripped my favorite AE jeans and laid another pair to rest fot he next 9 months.
Sleep: SUCKS! After Lyla, things just never went back to "normal" in that department. I never/rarely sleep through the night. Lyla gets me up around 2:30 in the morning to go to bed with her, not sure how I'm goign to figure that one out once you get here...but I'm sure we can handle it. I do feel EXHAUSTED by 5:30, but Lyla isn't having that, I still have to run, play and chase her .... but when she goes to bed, so do I...usually passing out cold WITH her.
Gender: I feel like you are a boy as of right now
Name: Still in the discussion process with daddy.
Feeling: TIRED. EXHAUSTED. PREGNANT and THRILLED.
Health: Have a head cold, thank you very much daycare. nausea comes and goes. Usually comes on stronger when I don't eat. Carbs are my bff right now. (ahem...4lbs)
Movement: just some cramping here and there.
Belly: Bloat comes and goes. Nothing as bad as I had it with Lyla though.
Next Appointment: Next Thursday 4/4/2013 at 7:30 a.m. not sure what they do at that appointment. I had ultrasounds early with Lyla because of my previous miscarriage. With you they didn't want to see you until 8 weeks. I did have some cramping on my left side and they did see me at 5weeks 5 days and I got to see you little bean. Everything looked good. So we shall see what they do on the 4th. Until then....I have to get some work done. Love ya lots already little bean.
