Today is the day...

Today is the day that Lyla Ann will join our world. She will be held, kissed, loved, squeezed and hugged by so many family and friends. She is so blessed to have so many people who already love her to pieces.

We leave for the hospital at 5:30 a.m. and surgery is at 8:00.

Poor baby girl is moving and wiggling and nice and comfy inside of me, she has no clue what is about to happen to her and I must admit, I feel slightly guilty. But when I think of all the love this girl is about to have for her I know she is going to be the happiest baby ever!

Words can not describe what I am feeling and what I just know in my heart her daddy is feeling.

Never tought this day would come. I will be holding her in my arms today. I don't know how it is possible to love anybody more than my husband, but I have a very funny feeling I am about to find out! Oh what is about to be in store for us..............(to be continued)

5 days left and the words of a wise woman creep into my head...

May today there be peace within,
May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content.
Let this presences settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.

I just can't wait....

I can not wait to wear a belt again. This is by far the accessorie I have missed the most from my wardrobe!

I can't wait to wear heels again! YAH BABY!!! HIGH HEELS!

I can't wait for an ice cold Miller Lite (stopping tommorow on my way home from work for a 30 pack)

a glass of red wine
a glas of white wine
a margarita (no salt on the rocks with a straw)
and an espresso martini from Jason at Gilligans
(not all on the same day of course)

But most importantly - I can not wait to hold our baby girl in my arms, to kiss her soft fat cheeks and her soft head, squeeze her tiny little hiney, and rub her perfect back and count all of her rolls dwon her legs and arms that I just know she will have (thanks to me). I can't wait to see her little hands and have her hold onto my finger for dear life to put her little toes in my mouth and rub her little plump bottom lip (all of this the vision in my head).

But above all else I can not wait to see the love of my life holding our little baby girl in his arms and smiling and loving our very own little miracle more than life itself, because that is EXACTLY what she is to us! SO HURRY UP AND COME ON WEDNESDAY JULY 7th!!!!!!
