37 weeks and 5 days
Weight Gain: Lost 2lbs last week with all the hospital drama but I got weighed today and got the 2lbs back plus a pound....so total 23lbs so far!
Sleep: What does that word mean??????
Gender: Girl
Name: Lyla Ann Dulovich
Feeling: Tired and more than ready to meet our baby girl.l
Health: BP was good, Pee was good, weight was good and she is "quite a big baby" Got some weird thing going on on my tongue, was told to take a Benadryl and see if that helps. Dr. has never seen it before....
Movement: Yeppers. She likes to get jiggy wit it! At party #2 on Saturday Ludicris (sp?) was playing on the stereo and she was going WILD! That's my girl!
Belly: Still there and getting bigger. Tiny patch of stretch marks found 2 weeks ago but they aren't getting any bigger - there is a tiny tiny tiny bit of hope left that I may get into a bikini again...MAYBE!!!! Did I mention that I was told I need to get a vertical incision for my c-section! ugh. Maybe I'll just get one big tatoo to cover it up one day :)
Next Appointment: July 6th (the day BEFORE the c-section) at 9 a.m. - probably the stupidest thing I have ever heard of! What in the heck could they possibly need me to come in to the office for? It's effing HOT outside.
Best part of the week: Best part of the week for me this week is that J is workig 7-3 so I get to see him at night and have dinner with him AND we get to sleep in the same bed at night time! wahoooo. Also - we both have off the entire week next week together. Monday and Tuesday it will be just me and him together, then the in laws all roll in on Tuesday night and then Lyla rolls in on Wednesday! I'm so excited to have this next weekend and Monday and Tuesday with just me and J before our whole life changes.

37 Week Belly picture and update
I have been a slacker ... but I have a good excuse! July 17th I got sent to labor and delivery for belly pain. I was sitting at work, minding my own business just had gotten back from a luncheon for my boss' 50th birthday. Suddenly I felt uncomfortable and thought "Uh Oh..damn pizza I gotta go to the bathroom" I went to stand up and the pain was so intense it knocked me right back down into my chair. I grabbed my co worker and told her what was going on and told her to keep her cell on her that I was going to the bathroom adn would call if the pain got worse. I did NOT have to go to the bathroom while in there the pain got worse and was now radiating to my back. I got up and got back to my desk....called my own personal web MD (my bff cousin Nicole) and she told me I had better call the doctor ASAP. I called the doc they sent me directly to labor and delivery. My mom picked me up from work and took me, the pain was so bad I couldn't drive myself. God bless her soul for trying her best to be a good driver while under that amount of pressure.....but HOLY BREAKS!!!!!!! By the time we got there ( about a 5 minute drive) the pain was even worse and now in my butt cheek....no way was this labor....who has contractions in there butt?????!!!!!! THIS GIRL DOES. THey hooked me up to a machine and told me that those were indeed contractions and Dr Hank would be in shortly.
Dr. Hank gave me a shot to stop the contractions, they wanted her to bake in there a little longer. However, the shot didn't work. He sent me home with an Ambien and still have contractions (they had at least slowed down) after a long drunken ride home for my mom and a stop at Wendy's where I'm sure I embarassed her only a little I arrived home, doped up on Ambien (eh hem...best buzz I had in the last 9 months). J finally got home from work and after I entertained him adn my mom for a bit we went to bed and my mom left. I was up two hours later with terrible contractions and in pain. I called the office first thign and got an appointment. J (the super wonderful hubby he is) drove me to the dr and in we went. He was AWESOME adn AMAZING and there are just no words to describe how great he was that day. We got to see Lyla loo loo in all her glory on an ultrasound, she had a leg up and around her head!!!! She's got that ballerina in her already :) It wasn't the cyst that was causing the pain and baby girl was fine. So they tried to send me home with just Tylenol with Codein (which I thought for sure I would shoot myself if they didn't work) but Dr. Bev noticed I couldn't even stand up straight so she wanted to hook me up to the fetal monitor again and see if I was having contractions and if I was dilated. Yepppers...contractions again 3-5 minutes apart and 1cm dilated. They admitted me to the hospital and shot me up with morphine! ahhhh...sleeeeeep. If that didn't work to stop my labor we were heading in for the c-section....early. I woke up at some point adn the contractions had stopped and I felt wonderful!!!! BUT - they kept me in there until SUNDAY! UGH! It was not fun...but in the end baby girl was wonderful and healthy and she is still in there baking.
I have a dr. appointment in 15 minutes so I'll update my status when I get back.

36 weeks
Weight Gain: Alittle less than 1 lb! Total weight gain is 22 lbs...not too shabby Amanda! (I did just scarf down a donut though...and it was worth every last bite)
Sleep: Not a good day to ask. Had my first "set" of contractions (Braxtons) last night. They started at 9 and ended around midnight. When J got home from work he was timing them.....7-10 minute apart and lasting about a minute. That was NOT fun and I have to admit this is the second time that I have thanked GOD I am having a c-section...I mean those aren't even the real deal and they brought tears to my eyes - what in the hell would the real thing be like! YIKES!

Health: BP was good, Pee was good, weight was good and she is measuring "fine" (I hate that word) I also got to get my little swabby test done at the appointment on Monday (eh hem...not fun) and will be the results back from that next Monday.
Movement: YES. Dear god YES. I know I'm going to miss her and feel empty when she is an outside baby but to be perfectly honest I'm sick of being her personal punching bag. (Now I know how my mom feels every.single.day when I use her as my personal punching (venting) bag) Poor nonnie.
Belly: Yes, I went to the farmers market yesterday and I swear I thougth someone was goign to ask to pat me down becuase it looked like I was smuggling watermelons under my dress!
Next Appointment: June 21st at 2:45. Yes, that is correct. I now go once a week.
Best part of the week: WOW...ummm....I hate to be a debbie downer, but at this point the only "best of part of the week" I'll be having is if I go into labor! ha ha

Weight Gain: Getting weighed again next Monday, I feel like I have gained since last appt.
Sleep: Some nights good some nights bad. Not all Lyla Ann's fault either! eh hem...Brutus, snoring husband, hot flashes, peeing you know...

Feeling: My back hurts, She rolls or does whatever she does in there and she hurts me....there is nothing comfortable about this final stretch...I'm so grateful right now though, I haven't swollen even alittle bit.
Health: I'm thinking it's still good. I don't feel any different than last week except I'm getting "fake" contractions I think and my back hurts, but other than that I feel GOOD, I feel 35 weeks pregnant, I feel like I'm ecstatic I only have 4 more weeks to go :)
Movement: YES! GOD YES! I thought the movement slowed down around this time. Nobody told me it got more painful and more uncomfortable!
Belly: Yes, the beachball is still fully blown up and ready to pop. Don't even LOOK at my "eject button"
Next Appointment: June 14th @ 11:30 a.m. after that appointment I will go once a week.
Best part of the week: We had my dad's retirement party on Friday night at Gilligans, that was fun and everyone seemed to have a blast. Saturday I bummed around the house all day, J is squeezing in as much golf time as possible lately and Sunday we volunteered at the Tour De Green Belt, did a little light shopping and went to lunch together. Monday blah Tuesday blah Today blah...tommorow is my little "lunch/shower" here at work. We are goign to Gilligans and I always get excited to eat there so that should be fun!

34 weeks (tommorow)
Weight Gain: No weight gain. Still at a solid 21.7 lbs!
Sleep: I get up around 3 a.m. and then again around 6 a.m. so I guess I can't really complain about that.
Gender: Girl
Name: Lyla Ann Dulovich
Feeling: In pain. It's uncomfortable and not so cute when she moves anymore. I'm just ready to meet her.
Health: Blood pressure is excellent, weight gain is good, Lyla's heartbeat was 142 bpm today and my pee is fine! Nicole said that, basically in a nice way, I have to deal with the pain becuase baby doesn't have awhole lot of room left in there especially with the cyst! GREAT! Another 5 weeks of THIS!
I feel like I should be like that little train "I THINK I CAN, I THINK I CAN I THINK I CAN"
Movement: YES! including her moving her feet into my left ribcage and getting them stuck! Thanks Lyla girl! Thanks alot.
Belly: ALL belly!
Next Appointment: June 14th @ 11:30 a.m. after that appointment I will go once a week.
Best part of the week: We took our last trip to the beach! the weather was GLORIOUS and we had a great time with friends and family.

33 weeks belly picture
This is the best I could do. Some how I missed getting the profile picture of my belly like every other week. I was busy basking in the sun on our boat!!!!! So here I am, belly and all! Tommorow I will be 34 weeks! Dr. appointment today will update later!
We sure are in the home stretch now!
