Name: Nolan William

Feeling: DONE. OVER IT. READY.

Cravings: WINE! BEER! and some good old fashion country music.

Health: BP was slightly high last appointment, but, I had JUST (within 10 minutes) found out my dad was being admitted to the hospital again for another stroke. So they let it go this time...I have an appointment again on Monday so we'll take it again then.

Movement: happy and healthy movements...only painful for mama. But I know how much I miss those kicks once he is on the outside.

Belly: Still growing. NO linea negra. More stretch marks.

Next appointment: Ndlovu - October 28th at 8:15 Every week from now until november 7th. No more ultrasounds.

This weekend: tomorrow halloween party at Bray's daycare. Saturday Jonathan runs another 5k at 8:30, baby sprinkle from 2-4 and OSU vs PSU on at 8:00. Sunday probably church, breakfast and shopping - the inlaws are coming in to town.

Nursery update: Only 3 more signs to hang and we are DONE. DOne and DONE......Check it out here.
All baby stuff (swings, bouncers, seats) are out, washed, and ready to put little man in. Picking up the breast pump at lunch. SO basically he can come any time now. I am able to feed him, cloth him and he has a room (even though he won't be using that for a few weeks after his arrival because I'm a cosleeping mama).

Come on baby Nolan...mama needs a beer with all the stress going in the last few months! ha ha.

Belly Picture (sleepy, tired and crying eyes)

Sleep: Not happening.

Gender: It's a BOY!

Name: Nolan William

Feeling: Pretty miserable....I'm tired, out of breath, feeling contractions, pissing myself all.the.time., and just overall uncomfortable. Also feeling pretty blessed to have such an amazing 3 year old little girl who has been an absolute angel this week (knocks on wood) she makes me smile and laugh even though I feel so crappy!

Cravings: WINE! Just went and bought 3 bottles!

Nursery update: Coming along! Only a few finishing touches remain......Check it out here.
I have three pieces to hang above his crib and one thing to hang on the right of the window. I still haven't done that since I wrote this last week, but it IS getting done tonight so I can update the picture of his nursery. Dresser FILLED to the brim with clothes and 3 rubbermaid tubs under his crib filled with more clothes.

Belly Picture:

34 Weeks

Pregnancy: 34 weeks

Weight Gain: 175.6 (+17 lbs)

Sleep: Popped some Tylenol PM the last two nights. No trouble sleeping there. Slept at my moms last night and had some Lyla drama throughout the night. She crapped in her diaper (?) and kicked me in the face and fell out of bed in between the bed and the wall and got stuck, I couldn't get to her because of my belly so I was yelling for my mom while trying to move the bed. Per usual, Nona saved the day and safely removed Lyla from her "situation" and we all went back to sleep. I assume this is just a taste of what it will be like to be a mommy of two.

Gender: It's a BOY!

Name: Nolan William

Feeling: Sad. Tired. Unmotivated. Dad had a stroke on Thursday. Things are tough for everyone.

Cravings: STIR FRY.

Health: At ultrasound appointment they suspect Nolan is weighing 6lbs5oz as of right now, I still have 5 weeks to carry him. Lord help me. All looked great on the ultrasound. At my regular appointment everything was fine. I go back in 2 weeks and then after that once a week until November 7th.

Movement: yes. all.the.time. painful most of the time. We like to put toys on my belly and watch as he kicks them off. Even the ultrasound tech commented on how strong he is :) His daddy was a soccer player after all.

Belly: Still growing. NO linea negra. I found horrible, ugly and nasty stretch marks last night while visiting my dad at rehab. I warned Jonathan yesterday I didn't think my body was going to bounce back from this one without any permanent damage. ha ha. damn monster babies.

Next appointment: Ndlovu - October 14th at 11:30 after this appointment it will be every week. No more ultrasounds.

This weekend: Sunday Jonathan is running his first 5k! so very proud of him. Quit smoking and start running! My man.
I was supposed to take one of two breastfeeding classes I had signed up for this Thursday but because of everything going on I had to cancel out of it because of lack of babysitter...better get used to that with all the change going on. Hopefully reading the book and having supportive friends will be enough for me to meet my goal of breastfeeding this time. Fingers crossed.

Nursery update: Still a work in progress. I lack motivation and time right now. It will get done before he gets here though.

33 Weeks

Pregnancy: 33 Weeks

Weight Gain: 175.0 (+16.4 lbs) Will get weighed at my next appointment

Sleep: Nolan wakes up at 3 a.m. every.single.day. and add Lyla into that mix of "I have to potty" "I can't find my blankie" etc. and my bladder being used as a trampoline, it's just a big old party all night long at my house. That's alright. Just prepping me for those sleepless newborn nights.

Gender: It's a BOY!

Name: Nolan William

Feeling: Overall .... really really well. The usual tired, uncomfortable. Nolan must be higher than Lyla because a lot of times I feel like I can't breath. I miss holding Lyla on my lap or being able to hold her while standing for long. I miss my unpregnant body. LOL. This pregnancy is still going so fast I'm trying to embrace it.

Cravings: STIR FRY. and tonight I'm going for my Giottis gnoccis with Annmarie!

Health: All seems to be ok. Better update after ultrasound and appointment next Tuesday.

Movement: Yes. and we have reached the part that it gets creepy and hurts. again, trying to remember how much I missed it once Lyla wasn't in my belly anymore.

Belly: Still growing. NO linea negra like I had with Lyla and no stretch marks yet....YET.

Next appointment: Ndlovu - October 1st 9 a.m.. Every two weeks now. next ultrasound October 1st 8 a.m.

This weekend: Tonight dance. Friday.....blank. Saturday story time at the library. Apple Festival in New Cumberland. Possibly babysitting Bryce adn Bray so Nicole can go out for her birthday. Sunday working on Nolan's room.

Nursery update: Lyla's room is painted and new bed set up. the only left to do in there is put stickers on the wall and hang her stuffed animal net. Nolan's room is all painted and Jonathan will be working on crib and dresser tonight and tomorrow and Sunday. Closet in his room is all cleaned out and carpets are shampooed (THANK GOD...they look brand new). everything is moving right along and with time to spare!

My mom and Nicole are throwing a sprinkle on October 13th. That should be fun :) and a nice little celebration for Nolan. I don't particularly believe in sprinkles...but after everything that has happened with aunt jetta and our family I figure what the hell....anything we can all get together and CELEBRATE is a GOOD thing!!!!! Aunt jetta would want us to celebrate the fun times....

32 Weeks

Pregnancy: 32 Weeks

Weight Gain: 175.0 (+16.4 lbs)

Sleep: Not really a ton of that going on. If I didn't have to work full time I would be a great napper.

Gender: It's a BOY!

Name: Nolan William

Feeling: Good. Getting a little uncomfortable...sometimes a lot uncomfortable. I'm starting to have back pains. Iron seems to be helping with energy but I'm still tired all the time.

Cravings: Beer. Wine. Carbs. STIR FRY. I was craving stir fry, I found a recipe on pinterest and it was DELICIOUS. I want to eat it everyday for the rest of my pregnancy.

Health: Passed my 3 hour glucose. Apparently there are 4 parts to the test. I only failed one so I am NOT diabetic. I passed the fasting, the one hour, failed the two hour (marginally) and passed the three hour. I really have no clue what all of that means, but I thought just in case I ever get pregnant again I may want to note this. LOL. Or some day 30 years from now when I"m trying to remember "how it was back in my day" I am 32 weeks but measuring 2 weeks ahead according to the doctor.

Movement: God yes. Please make him calm down....just a little.

Belly: Still growing.

Next appointment: Ndlovu - October 1st 9 a.m.. Every two weeks now. next ultrasound October 1st 8 a.m.

This weekend: Dance and McD's with my mom and Peyton on thursday. Friday Jonathan works a double so just me and Lima bean. Saturday football, shopping and apple picking. Sunday football. Football for my hubby and sleeping for me :)

Nursery update:Primed. Ceiling painted. I think it's taped off and we bought the color paint we want. I also have everythign ordered and it is in the mail as I type this. Only thing left to buy is a white crib skirt and a changing pad cover.

These are the things that happen when your husband works 60+ hours in a week and is picking up your slack from being lazy and pregnant and taking care of his new bff daughter who won't leave his side. ::see honey it's not you, it's me::

Belly picture!

30 Weeks

This weekend: Heading to the beach tonight. Last trip as a mom of two :)  Jonathan is working all weekend, doubles out the wazoo and so we are skipping out of town.

Nursery update: The work has begun. whoop whoop. Holes filled and sanded. Primer up. I highly doubt any work will get done while we are away though, since he is working the entire time...but feeling better about the nursery. Still have no bedding (but i do have it picked out). I went through 2 bins of hand me downs from friends and got all of that washed and put away into a bin with a lid so it doesn't get dirty again.

Finally remembered and WENT to get my glucose test today. I assume I will find out the results Tuesday. Hopefully I pass. I need my hair did BAAAAD. I had such great pregnancy hair with Lyla, but with Nolan? god I just look ridiculous. Thank goodness I have a hair appointment on Tuesday.

Belly picture: I think I look bigger with Lyla than I do with Nolan in these photos....

Belly picture:

26 Weeks

Pregnancy: 26 Weeks

Weight Gain: 168.4

Sleep: I'm sleeping. No complaints.

Gender: It's a BOY!

Name: Nolan William

Feeling: INDIGESTION. I did NOT have this with Lyla. It subsided for a few days so I assumed he had changed positions and I was in the clear. Today? It's baaaaaack and more irritating than ever. Does this mean he'll have a full head of hair? My luck....a girl who was bald for 2 years and has a rats nest in the back of her hair now and a boy with a nice full luscious head of hair. (Sound familiar Stormy)

Cravings: Hot fudge Sundaes...on the reg.

Health: Indigestion is craptastic. Thinking of making the switch to Zantac.

Movement: Yes. But you really are a good little boy. I feel you regularly...but you never wake me up at night, so therefor, you are already my favorite child.  I have standards set high for you little Nolan.

Belly: Still growing.

Next appointment: Ultrasound on 8/20 Next ndlovu appointment on 8/20. At my next appointment we will find out Nolan's definite c-section date and time!

This weekend: Who knows.

Nursery update: Still nothing done. Nada. Zilch. Zero. NOTHING. 13 weeks to go. 3 weekends before football starts.

Lyla. You are giving me a run for my money this week. last week? PERFECT ANGEL. This week? If I go pick you up from daycare today and you have horns it will not shock me. Whatever crawled up your butt, please remove it and bring my happy 3 year old back. Thank you. and I love you.

Nolan. Keep up the good work buddy. You have been oober easy to be pregnant with. And I have high hopes of a very laid back, rational, non dramatic, non bossy, totally happy bouncing non eczema baby boy. no pressure. no pressure.   -- stay in there and cook to well done for the next 13 weeks buddy. Love you!

25 Weeks

Pregnancy: 25 Weeks

Weight Gain: 168.4

Sleep: Sleeping. I wake to pee and then go back to sleep. This week is a bit rough with all that is going on with Aunt Jetta but last night we all slept like rocks.

Gender: It's a BOY!

Name: Nolan William

Feeling: INDIGESTION. Holy mother of indigestion. It feels like someone (ahem Nolan) is rubbing a Brillo pad up and down my esophagus. Or maybe he is doing a "noogie" like rub at the base of my diaphragm. I really don't know what the hey he is doing but I am popping Tums a little too much for my own liking. Making the switch to Zantac as soon as I have time to get my unhappy indigestion ass to the store. Actually, this is really my only complaint. He's a super easy pregnancy. I only go to the doctor every 4 weeks. Everything is normal. He moves fine throughout the day. Could this be a sign that I may be blessed with an easy baby. I love my Lima Bean (do I even need to type that?) but holy hell she was NOT an easy baby. I dream of an easy baby. I find myself drooling while my friends tell me stories of there awesome infants sleeping through the night, smiling and not crying. No eczema???? No bleeding knuckles???? First cold and no sleepless nights???? No ear infection? Are these people serious or are they just trying to make it seem easy?
Cravings: WINE. Especially this week. WINE. BEER. A boat ride and a day on the Beach with my girlfriends. NOT PREGNANT. An energy drink. A HUGE CUP OF COFFEE with EXTRA CAFFEINE.
Health: Indigestion. Blech. Everything else is a o k.
Movement: Yep. Uh huh. I can't tell body parts, yet, but your a movin'.
Belly: I think it's grown noticeably from last week.
This weekend: Friday no plans, but most likely going to Nicole's to help out. Saturday a big huge trip to BJs that will inevitably break our bank account but "save" us money by "buying in bulk" I hate money. I hate necessities. Maybe I should become a mountain woman...wait...there are bugs there, never mind.
Next appointment: Ultrasound on 8/20 Next ndlovu appointment on 8/20. At my next appointment we will find out Nolan's definite c-section date and time! It will also be my last 4 week appointment. Then I'll be going every two weeks. and then once a week. oh and diapers, because well, it was a great deal and I seriously want to start buying them now to save money in the future when we are broke and eating beans out of a can because of having two in daycare.
DID YOU KNOW????We have NOTHING done for Nolan. NOTHING. There is a big huge messy "gender neutral" pile of clothing/towels/blankets in his room, a glider and a dresser in a box(es). He has, maybe, three outfits hanging in his closet...that's it. At this time in pregnancy with Lyla the room was all but done, closet filled with clothes, decorations complete...everything. She could have been born at 25 weeks and moved right in.
We have 14 weeks (IF I carry to term) to:paint, decorate, put furniture together in Nolan's room. Get out all the "baby shit stuff" like the big swing that takes up half the living room, The Excersauce that takes up 3/4 of my dining room, the highchair, the Jumperoo which is freaking awesome but takes up my entire first floor... the pack n play that I may use ... once to change a diaper. All that stuff I "HAD TO HAVE" with Lyla. the car seat...that one is important. we have time. right? well sure, if everything goes smooth and fine. But that isn't life. I need to be pre prepared. We also plan on redoing Lyla's room into a "big girl room" of her choice, which of course, give any 3 year old girl a choice and they chose purple and tangled EVERY TIME. So yeah. I am being dramatic but I just want it all done. Time is going so fast and it is freaking me the freak out.
Here is one piece of furniture Nolan does have. This could be the only piece of furniture he really "needs" when he comes home. We can change him on it, I can put stuff on it and in it. what else do we really need?

*Nolan and/or Lyla please excuse the cursing and quotations. Things are "off" this week and I'm loonier than usual"

My belly:

24 Weeks

Pregnancy: 24 Weeks

Weight Gain: 168.4

Sleep: Not too bad. Screw sleep training. NEVER doing that again.

Gender: It's a BOY!

Name: Nolan William

Feeling: Good. I'm grumpy today, but I think that has more to do with my three year old than pregnancy. And the stupid trash man who is messing with my trash here at work, who also just so happens to be getting a little note from me tomorrow morning. ass. (see, I just can't even help my grumpiness today)

Cravings: Wine. Beach. A vacation. The Finger Lakes.

Health: Good. Have to go for my glucose test before my next appointment on the 20th. Weight is good. Cervix is good. Everything is just so...normal...and after my pregnancy with Lyla, I welcome this with open arms.

They had found a blockage or delayed development in Nolan's right kidney back 2 ultrasounds ago. They said it would clear up on it's own most of the time and it was very common in boys...but they wanted to see me back this past Tuesday to check on it. And? it's all back to normal. My little normal Nolan. Thank GOD! I wasn't too worried about it, because they told me not to...but when the doctor told me he was 100% ok I smiled and cried. it was probably mostly ugly for the doctor to see... I mean a big fat pregnant girl smiling and crying with that ugly face thing that women do..yeah...but I didn't care. My Nolan was just perfect, weighing in at a whopping 1lb 14 oz already! So health? yep. We're both all good.

Holy indigestion. I didn't have that with Lyla. Nope. No indigestion with her. But this little sucker is killing me softly and tums have become my BFF. Thinking of switching to Zantac here shortly if the tums consumption gets too much.

Movement: yes. and you can see it from the outside now.

Belly: One of Lyla's friends in daycare asked me "what's under there" while pointing to my belly.

This weekend: Pizza Friday. Wedding Saturday. Church on Sunday.

Next appointment: Ultrasound on 8/20 Next ndlovu appointment on 8/20.

At my next appointment we will find out Nolan's definate c-section date and time! It will also be my last 4 week appointment. Then I'll be going every two weeks. and then once a week. Hello third trimester. I know I keep saying but this pregnancy is just flying by. We have so much to do and so little time (it feels) to do it in.

My belly:
