Lyla ate her first REAL food. Sweet potatoes on Thanksgiving. She absolutely LOVED it. Usually she lets her cereal run all over her face and blows rasberries with it. The sweet potatoes....NO WAY....she barely wasted a pinch of them! That's my girl, can't waste food!

So here it is. Although at first it seemed oh so hard to come up with 101 things I want to do, now the list has become endless. What about all those other things I want to do? Well....I am ONLY 28 (for another 22 days) so I have to hurry up and get these things done so I can start on another list...HA!

Yep. That's our girl. Better late than never. She rolled a few weekends ago but I am just now getting around to uploading the photos to the blog.

and then.....
And now she doesn't stop. We find her in all sorts of funky positions through out the night and in the morning. She rolls on the floor she rolls wherever she wants to. Her big belly gets her stuck on her belly though, but I'm sure soon enough she'll be rolling front to back too! My how time flies.
HEAVEN
Heaven...I'm in heaven!
Lyla slept from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday! It was ahhhhhmazing!!!!!! Now, lets see if she can keep this up! I NEVER thought I would say this...but I almost miss her getting up the last two nights. That was our special mommy and me time, feeding her in the dark, staring at her big baby blues while she slurped down her bottle! ahhhhh......my bebe.
We had to switch her from rice cereal to oatmeal and she seems to be doing better on it so far.
Last night was bath night and she wanted to give me a special present before I put her in the bath, a nice big ol' fashion pile of poop on the mat in our bathroom! Then she wanted to splash in it. Nice huh? ahhh well...it's all part of being a mama...which I LOVE!

Today we tried cereal for the first time. I consider it a FAIL. But good practice! I keep playing the video over and over and over here at work! LOVE LOVE LOVE my baby girl!
RELIEF
We talked and decided it is best to give Lyla her shots spread out! So she only got her oral and one shot. She seems to be doing much better already then last time-just the usually fussiness and just wants to be held. I'll take that any day. Going to give her some cereal tomorrow morning!

That is the only word that comes to my mind right now while I sit here in my car waiting to go into Lyla's 4 month check up...in other words that means shots.....shots. Ugh. Here is to hoping that this turns out better than the last time.
Good news for the day....her pictures are done and Katie is dropping off the cd today. !! That will get me through this appointment. I can look at my happy baby all night o. Those photos if I want to!

What a teaser....
Not only could I not sleep last night I was so excited....but then I come to work and see THIS. It's just not fair.....sigh!
This weekend was a BLAST! I got to spend the entire weekend with my bebe and my hubsters.
Friday night we played and then put the bebe to bed. I read some of my book that I started, which so far seems like a wonderful read (Water for Elephants). Saturday morning I got to sleep in until 8 a.m. while J watched Lyla and kept things quiet, when I woke up I came out to find my smiling baby girl and my happy hot husband along with a fresh pot of coffee. Then we went shopping until 1:00 getting stuff for our family photo shoot on Sunday. Later that night after the bebe was in bed we sat in our warm basement (heater was turned up) and had a margarita with chips and salsa...mmm mmmm good. Sunday was our big photoshoot and we all laughed so hard! The pictures are going to be AHHHHmazing! I just know it. Of course having a wonderful photographer made the day so great. Last night got some very exciting news that our friends had their baby! And.....
This morning my baby girl laughed at me for 15 minutes straight...I'm talking dramatic throw your head back hold your belly laugh! Never knew I was so funny!
Tommorow will be a bad, sad day. Lyla goes in for her 4 month vaccinations. She didn't do well last time (hospital trip) and I'm really hoping that doesn't happen again this time. She will be able to start on rice cereal this week though...which is pretty exciting. Watch for pics to come!

One year ago today....
We found out our baby was on her way.
Our lives were changed forever and we wouldn't trade it for the world.
